Happy Juneteenth, everyone! It's a time to celebrate but it's also a time to commemorate the ancestors who endured so much for freedom as we know it. With this listing of events and happenings around the metro DC area, I've also added "additional resources" towards the bottom of this article to help with teaching your children more about what the holiday of Juneteenth is all about.
