Kid-friendly Activities in DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia this Weekend (10/11 - 10/13)

There's a bunch of current and new children's theatrical performances in our area and I'm excited to spread the word about them. A couple of weeks ago, you heard about the latest Winnie the Pooh performance, which is still on stage at Imagination Stage through October 27th. Well, this past weekend, we saw She Persisted at Adventure Theatre in Glen Echo. I cried, of course, but it was a different cry, lol. Tears of joy for the stories of inspirational women in history like Harriet Tubman, Sally Ride and Florence Griffith Joyner, also known as Flo-Jo. When I say I learned SO much about Flo-Jo's story! It intrigued me to learn more because sis was lit! Liv really enjoyed it too. She said she liked seeing how the individual characters solved their problems. Stellar performance that I highly encourage all to see, especially middle grade girls and boys. Speaking of theatre, I published a new blog this week dedicated to Children's Theater in the DMV! It'll be updated regularly so make sure to scroll back up to bookmark it. Now off to more performances, activities and events happening this weekend...
