Kid-friendly Activities in DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia this Weekend (11/29 - 12/1)
Happy Thanksgiving! Did you know all of the Smithsonian Museums are open on Thanksgiving Day? So if you'd like to venture out before dinner, I've compiled a listing of best museums to visit in DC, which includes all of the Smithsonian museums (see link below). Some low-key but pretty cool ones include the National Postal Museum near Union Station, the Anacostia Community Museum and our favorite art museum, the Hirshhorn, located on the National Mall. This listing also includes the official Smithsonian map so you can see how far each one is from another. It's a great one to bookmark as I've been updating it each time we visit or re-visit a museum. Lastly, I am thankful for you! Thanks for tuning in each week to see what's happening in the DMV area. Have a happy & safe holiday weekend!
