Kid-friendly Activities in DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia this Weekend (4/18 - 4/20)
Happy Spring Break! Earlier this week we headed out to Sligo Creek Golf Course for Skip Day hosted by the Bison Impact Group, who prides itself with introducing Black people to golf as a space for wellness. This event was huge for me because I haven't been golfing since I was like 12 and it was Liv's first time! We drove around in a golf cart and learned the ends and outs of golfing from what club to use to how to properly swing + safety measures. I highly encourage you to check out the offerings of the Bison Impact Group and their HBCU Golf Tournament. We'll DEFINITELY sign up for another lesson or two. I have a breakdown of the day coming up next on Instagram and Facebook so please stay tuned. In the meantime, tap the image above for more info on upcoming events from the Bison Impact Group and read on for more happenings going on this weekend!
