Kid-friendly Activities in DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia this Weekend (4/25 - 4/27)

Scavenger Hunting at the National Postal Museum
SOO much going on this weekend!! Spring has sprung and we're outside, but first, I must spotlight a newbie on the blog! I recently debuted the 4DMV Kids' Guide to the National Postal Museum (tap the image above to see it). My hope is that you won't skip over this gem of a museum because it isn't located on the National Mall and... who cares about the mail? lol But this is one of my most favorite museums, especially for the younger kids. Museum curators put a lot of work in weaving interactive pieces throughout the entire museum and there's no shortage of random facts to impress your friends. This museum is also less crowded and although there isn't a cafe/restaurant on-site, Union Station is located directly across the street for quick bites to eat. They have a bunch of online resources too (linked in the guide) that may come in handy for parents and educators. If you haven't visited the National Postal Museum yet, I encourage you to bookmark the guide to plan ahead. Now on to this weekend's events...
