Kid-friendly Activities in DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia this Weekend (6/27 – 6/29)

On the Set of Dory Fantasmagory at Imagination Stage
The review is in! Dory Fantasmagory made its on-stage debut at Imagination Stage last weekend and it's pretty hilarious! I don't think I've ever laughed out loud at a children's theater performance before. Quick synopsis: "Dory's siblings won't play with her and there are monsters to battle all over the house, like the hair-raising Mrs. Gobble Gracker. With the help of her fairy godfather, Mr. Nuggy, her monster-friend, Mary, and her mighty imagination, Dory sets out to win what she wants most: her family's attention." The run-time for this performance is about an hour with no intermission. There are also plenty of themed events coming up like a Pride Month celebration on Sunday! Tap the image above to see my full review + a listing of all the Dory-themed events. Happy weekend planning!
