Kid-friendly Events this weekend in DC, Maryland & Virginia (6/28 - 6/30)

Whew a WEEK, y'all! Liv's summer camp got canceled last Saturday prior to starting ON MONDAY *faints* So I had to scramble this week & take some time off. All is well though! Camp now officially starts next week. On Monday, we visited the Renwick Gallery, which is located across the street from the White House. It's a small extension of the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) and definitely a gem of the downtown DC area. Their current, temporary exhibit, "Subversive, Skilled, Sublime: Fiber Art by Women" was a hit with Liv. She loved seeing how fabric can be used to create art outside of the fashion world. She mentioned wanting to go back, which is always good to hear! Now on to this weekend's adventures...
