Kid-friendly Events this weekend in DC, Maryland & Virginia (7/5 - 7/7)
Hey y'all! Have you ever heard of Read with Ello? It's an app that promotes independent reading for kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We ran into the mascot on the National Mall outside of the Folklife Festival over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to hear of their successes and eager to try it. Jack has been reading a few words on his own lately so it may be a good time to try some additional tools. I always sing the praises of The Learning Cove's CVC Word Cards, which Jack loves as well as the Brain Quest collection. Always good to have a few extra tools in your back pocket! Now on to the events for this upcoming weekend...
