It's Howard Homecoming Weekend!
Hey y'all! Many, MANY Halloween celebrations going down this weekend so our list is full of them. It's also Howard Homecoming Weekend! *woot woot* I'm not an HU alum (sadly, my college's alumni weekend is also this weekend and I'm definitely not as excited for it LOL) Each year, WHUT proudly hosts FamFest, which is a celebration for families to attend during Homecoming weekend. We attended in 2023 and had a great time! This year's event will be held on Saturday (10/25) from 11am - 3pm and is centered around Mind, Body, & Soul with activities to go along with each. There will be WHUT giveaways, PBS gaming and coloring stations, a Kiddie Corner, and creative arts with Words Beats Life as well as a DC Divas activation, STEM stations with Miss Michy and a whole bunch of other activities and things for kids to engage with. No, you don't have to be an alum and it's free to attend as well. It's always a great, family-friendly way of getting kids on a college campus. Start them early! Anyways, happy planning for this weekend!
