Note: This weekly listing is full of events happening throughout the weekend for kids (ages 3+) – teens. I place a special emphasis on literacy, STEM & other educational based events as well as family fun festivities. Stargazing Night with the city of college park
This Friday (3/27)! There's a stargazing event in College Park, MD at Calvert Hills playground. Join staff from the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum for a view of the night sky. Experienced people will help you to use different telescopes to observe a variety of things, including planets, stars, and the Moon. There will also be hands-on activities to explore astronomy in new ways.
