Liv and Sarah stand in front of a giant teddy bear in Franklin Park in NW DC
Giant Teddy Bears will take over Franklin Park in DC this weekend!
It's Kids World Weekend in DC! Started in 2023, this annual festival brings some exciting children's themed activities to Franklin Park in NW DC. We've been for the past two years and had a ball each time we visited. Note that this festival is outdoors and it gets extremely hot! I almost melted the first year so we popped over to Planet Word, which is located across the street to cool down a bit. There's so much to do at this festival for toddlers to tweens. New this year includes Mommy and Me Yoga, a Color Corner, Grand Safari with live animals, Mad Science experiments &. much more! There's also free merch like tee shirts and hats for kids in attendance as well. I'm running a special giveaway on Instagram right now through 11:59 pm on Thursday (7/24). One winner will receive a Downtown DC swag bag and a $100 gift card in promotion of Kids World. Tap the image above to check it out/enter. Also, if you see me there on Saturday, don't be shy! I'd love to thank you for your support. Happy planning for this weekend, y'all!!!
