Through guided activities, students will create their own suncatchers while learning about the important role of decorative art in different heritages and cultures.

- Saturday (8/22) at 10:00 am | Nature Kayaking at Lake Fairfax ($) (Best for ages 12+)
- Paddle with a naturalist to learn about the flora and fauna that call the lake their home. Find out what’s growing along the lake’s edge, who likes to wade in the water and what might be swimming underneath you. Single kayaks and all equipment provided.
- Saturday (8/22) at 2:00 pm | Teen Volunteer Corps at Central Library in Arlington (Best for grades 7-12)
- Learn more about how volunteering at the library works and get started working on different volunteer tasks!
- Saturday (8/22) at 2:30 pm | Kids: Code Your First App at Apple Tysons Corner (Best for ages 10+)
- Code and create as a family with Swift Playground using iPad. Kids will experiment with code and design an app using the About Me playground.
- Sunday (8/23) at 2:30 pm | Kids: Code Your First App at Apple Reston (Best for ages 10+)
