Explore the stories, traditions, and creative expressions behind this holiday celebrated around the world. After a Storytime about Lunar New Year, participants will take a kid-friendly gallery tour highlighting countries and cultures that celebrate the holiday. Then, they will come back to the classroom for a related craft. Tickets are $20 per person! This program is best for ages 6-10.

2/16 at 1:00 pm | Le Patin Libre Grande Forme Performance at The Wharf Ice Rink

Watch Le Patin Libre – the dazzling contemporary Canadian skating company, put on a special performance at The Wharf Ice Rink! At 1pm, they will take to the ice and demonstrate what can happen far from the sparkles of traditional figure skating with real works of art exploiting the amazing choreographic and theatrical potential of glide.

the autobiography of Coretta
A current bedtime read of ours! My kids have really enjoyed reading and learning more about Coretta Scott-King so I thought I'd share her autobiography this week. I also love that they included a Civil Rights timeline & glossary at the back.
